'Murder Most Foul,' by Bob Dylan -- an analysis, on Listening Lyrics, Jan. 7, 2022Fri, 01/07/2022 - 4:00pm | Pieter PastoorOn today's progam, Listening Lyrics plays "Murder Most Foul" and spends a little time analyzing the song. This is done by means of playing some of the music Dylan mentions in the song. From Wikipedia: "Murder Most Foul" by Bob Dylan is the 10th and final track on his 39th studio album, Rough and Rowdy Ways (2020). It was released as the album's lead single on March 27, 2020, through Columbia Records. The song addresses the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy in the context of the greater American political and cultural history. The song, Dylan's first original music released since 2012, generated an enormous amount of commentary. At 16 minutes, 56 seconds, it is the longest song he has released, eclipsing 1997's "Highlands" by 25 seconds. |

What can I say; I LOVED THIS SHOW!
Additionally, I'll let you in on a secret, this was the first time that I listened to, not one, but two complete Rap songs -- and enjoyed them. :)
Loved the show and thoroughly enjoyed Cory. Tell him what Michael J Fox once said; "I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business." He was excellent.
the October 3rd show was way too short. What a mellow and superbly classy hour that just blew by. Thanks!
