The Epstein files plus music on Listening Lyrics – Feb. 20, 2026Fri, 02/20/2026 - 3:20pm | Pieter PastoorThis week's Listening Lyrics is a musical journey through scandal and excess — inspired by the cultural undercurrents reflected in the Epstein files. The show is not about the documents themselves but about the atmosphere they reveal — wealth, temptation, secrecy, exploitation — and how artists have long warned us about these very forces. |

Listening Lyrics, Jan. 23, 2026: Remembering Bill and DianeFri, 01/23/2026 - 5:20pm | Pieter PastoorRecently, KDRT lost two truly wonderful and creative super-volunteers—friends who helped shape the heart and soul of this station. Today, I’m sharing an hour of upbeat, sing-along music—not to mark a loss, but to celebrate a life well shared. This hour is about the joy, the laughter, and the connection Diane and Bill brought into our lives. So stay with me, turn it up, sing along—and let’s celebrate them together. |
The music of Minneapolis, on Listening Lyrics, Jan. 16, 2026Fri, 01/16/2026 - 5:20pm | Pieter PastoorMinneapolis keeps producing artists who are technically sharp, stylistically open, and community-rooted. That mix explains why musicians from the city move easily between funk, jazz, indie, and pop—and why the music feels both local and universal. Listen in to an hour of music from the Twin Cities. |

What can I say; I LOVED THIS SHOW!
Additionally, I'll let you in on a secret, this was the first time that I listened to, not one, but two complete Rap songs -- and enjoyed them. :)
Loved the show and thoroughly enjoyed Cory. Tell him what Michael J Fox once said; "I am careful not to confuse excellence with perfection. Excellence, I can reach for; perfection is God's business." He was excellent.
the October 3rd show was way too short. What a mellow and superbly classy hour that just blew by. Thanks!
