KDRT 95.7 FM is grassroots radio from Davis, CA, airing an eclectic mix of music and public-affairs programming. A project of nonprofit Davis Media Access, KDRT streams worldwide via KDRT.org.

Mapping Healthcare is a radio show and podcast where a medic with a map explores ways in which people around the globe make the world of healthcare better and what we can learn from them. The host is a physician, medical educator, and researcher who leads programs to help people access high-quality healthcare and stay healthy. All past episodes are archived below. NextGen Talks

NextGen Talks is a youth-driven program that offers a fresh perspective on state politics, featuring interviews with city officials and state leaders. Hosted by Jazmin Garcia, a high school junior with extensive experience in local government, the program highlights issues that matter most to young people, such as public safety, housing, and education. By focusing on the local actions that shape the future for youth, NextGen Talks aims to bridge the gap between young citizens and their city leaders, fostering a more engaged and informed community.

Night Train Cocktail Lounge

A saloon of songs and sounds from back then, focusing on anything recorded between the 1890s and the 1970s. All forms of jazz, blues, rock, surf, garage, punk, country, folk, film-radio-television samples, speeches, comedy, and anything grabbed from the ages and put to cylinder, wax or tape, colliding on top each other.

Night Train Cocktail Lounge is produced live at WXOX-LP FM in Louisville, KY. All local material is edited, including times and dates, making each episode an evergreen episode. All episodes are FCC compliant.

Tune in to KDRT 95.7 FM or KDRT.org this Sunday, Oct.13, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. for a live broadcast accompanying this year's Davis Neighbors' Night Out. Your radio hosts will be program hosts Bill Buchanan (usual show Davisville) and Jim Buchanan (an original KDRT DJ who produces Live Tracks).

If you're going to one of the 116 neighborhood parties, call in to the studio while you're there for a chance to win a $50 Davis Food Co-op gift card each half-hour. Listen to the show for details. If you don't know where your neighbors are gathering, find the party near you. The weather's much better this weekend! And there are probably cool people living near you that you've never met. Here's your chance!

He's also an amazing visual artist. Alice was formerly a member of Shinyribs. Jon and Alice will be playing a few songs and talking about their work together in the Bright Shiners.
