Joshua Wisterman plays and articulates his music Jan 12th, 2018

Fri, 01/12/2018 - 5:05pm | Pieter Pastoor

J Wisterman.JPG

My first guest for 2018 - Josh set the interview bar high for all the guest that will follow. Listen now.

Joshua Wisterman grew up in Woodland, CA and started playing guitar at the age of nine. Now, 19 and playing mostly jazz music in the Sacramento area he has started creating a name for himself as talented and driven. His dream is to keep on doing music all of his life.

Listening Lyrics saw Joshua perform with jazz musicians more than twice his age, let me say that he more then held his own and is a real treat to hear.

Tue, 01/09/2018 - 9:45am | Bill Buchanan

1111 h st 01 rendering jpeg.jpg

Homelessness is a top concern for Davis business owners and downtown residents.  To the mix of ideas for addressing the problem, you can add a new idea that already has a location, design and backers – Paul’s Place, a combination of micro-apartments, transitional housing and services. It would replace the current resource center and transitional housing operated by Davis Community Meals and Housing at 1111 H St. Martha Teeter, president of Davis Opportunity Village, and Bill Pride, executive director of DCMH, talk about the project on today’s Davisville. Davis architect Maria Ogrydziak is the designer. A fund-raising campaign to raise the cost through private donations is in the works.
