Outta Style celebrates Women’s History Month by paying homage to our female singer/songwriters. Pictured is Hazel Dickens, truly a  spokeswoman for "Herstory." We’ll let the music and voices of Hazel, Gillian, Emmylou, Buffy, Janis and many others tell us about it. Outta Style is live Wednesday 6-7 PM, and replays Tuesday 1-2 PM and Thursday 10-11 PM.

3rd Streaming salutes St. Paddy's  Day this week with an initial hour featuring Irish music. The second hour includes Ralph Vaughn Williams' English Folk Song Suite, then a bit of Bach, but Bach, JAZZY! He was born March 21, 1685, so we also salute his birthday. The late, great French jazz pianist, Jacques Loussier, plays. One of Jean Sibelius' immense symphonies is on tap during the second hour, as well as an exciting Broadway hit show overture written by Jule Styne.

3rd Streaming now airs live on Wednesdays from 1 to 3 PM, with replays Saturdays 7-9 PM, and Tuesdays 9-11 PM.

We have new music from Ye Vagabonds, Sharon Shannon, Claire Sands and Susan O'Neil; classic tracks from Ireland's great voices: Daoiri Farrell, Finbar Furey, and Christy Moore; and we delve into the story of The Troubles with music from Podgie, The Jakes, Black 47, and more.
