The California Gold Rush (1848-1855) brought a deluge of people from around the world seeking riches, adventure and new lives. The impact on the soon-to-become State were massive. Naturally, many new songs about the journey and life in the camps and towns were born. The August 4, 2017 episode of "Cowboy Tracks" features western songs inspired by the Gold Rush.

Today on That's Life: Would you like another COLORful show? This is part two of the color "BLUE"!
BLUE is in the name -- of the song, of the album, or of the artist/band. There were so many "blue" choices, that I made TWO shows this color!
