Originally from the Green Mountain State of Vermont, I traded snow for sun in 2002 when I moved to Davis. Soon thereafter, I was swept up by the world of wine. My wine journey began as a wine buyer at the beloved local wine shop, Tucos, in the early 2000s. This experience ignited a passion that continues to this day. Over the past 20 years, I have made award-winning wines at a series of Yolo County wineries (Rominger West, Putah Creek Winery, Berryessa Gap), as well as wineries in Napa and New Zealand. Furthering my dedication to the craft, I earned my winemaking certificate from UC Davis in 2013 and got serious about making high-quality, limited-production wines before starting my own wine brand, Ophiolite Cellars, in 2024. Additionally, I am a partner with two other women in L'Apero Les Trois, a hand-crafted aperitif/vermouth brand where I make the aperitifs with local fruits and botanicals. After knowing Tree for over 15 years, tasting lots of wines together, and having numerous interesting conversations about wine, I have been basically begging him for several years to collaborate and talk wine on the radio. I'm very excited about our Taste, Talk and Whine show and hope those who listen learn something new about wine.
