S H O E S - This Friday a show all about shoes. With all of the talk about the Popes red shoes we are spending an hour with songs about shoes. Our very special guest will be STEVE the owner of GENERATIONS FAMILY FOOTWEAR in Davis, CA. (I never knew that there are hundreds of songs about shoes)

A RARE treat this week. ALEX ROTH of the band WEST NILE RAMBLERS  will be my guest for the whole hour. This very talented individual will discuss his music, his band, the artists that have influenced him and of course - coffee.

The WEST NILE NILE RAMBLERS were brought together by a desire to play music as often as possible, This band brings years of experience and a depth of understanding to a smörgåsbord of music styles. Don't be surprised if you hear Jazz, Cajun, and Bluegrass tunes at a WNR show near you. Their fairly simple arrangements are made special by their very tight musicianship. Also, they have been known to bicycle to their gigs with all their gear. Gotta give them some credit for that.

The show will air Friday, March 1, 2013 at 4:00PM.

A discussion with Toni Kallin. Toni is a L.A. native residing in Davis. She is a movie buff with ties to the Hollywood scene. We are going to discuss movies and play songs about movies. The top Oscar nominated songs and soundtracks will be reviewed. This hour will not only be fascinating but a lot of fun. So have your popcorn ready for Friday at 4:00PM

Hey all! Welcome back to Drupal tutorials! This post is primarily pointed at DJs who may want to add a little more pizazz to their show pages or blog entries. This information is only recommended for those who have some experience with HTML coding. 

The standard body text input shows users an upper level of actual workings. You're seeing the final product of a complex structure of code. To gain access to the more basic levels of the code, hit the "Disable rich-text" option. 

There is then a drop down menu, allowing you to view three separate types of HTML: filtered HTML, full HTML, and plain text. Choose an option according to your needs and comfort level. 

From here, you can "easily" embed video or do anything else that you fancy HTML people know how do. This is the section that allows you to be most creative with your entries, given that you know how to do so. 

As always, don't forget to save.

Hey all! Here's a just a collection of links to my Drupal How-To's and a brief explanation on how to do each. For more in depth instruction, click though to each individual entry. 

Account Setup

1. Log in 

2. Click your name in the upper right corner

3. Hit Edit

4. Add Profile Picture

5. Set Common Name

6. Add Name and Bio

7. Add Twitter account

 

1. Log in 

2. Click your name in the upper right corner

3. Click Track

4. Click the audio show you want to add a playlist for

5. Click the green plus sign

6. Type in playlist information

7. Save the playlist

8. Save the audio file 

Pre-Show Playlist

1. Log in 

2. Mouseover add content in the upper left

3. Click Add Playlist

4. Name the playlist and add playlist info

5. Save playlist
