Live DiRT with Austin Singer-Songwriter Patterson Barrett, Thursday, March 29th

Austin singer-songwriter Patterson Barrett joins host Bill Wagman for another edition of Live DiRT in the KDRT studio, Thursday, March 29th, at 2:00 p.m.  Patterson Barrett has played with Jerry Jeff Walker, Lou Ann Barton, Nanci Griffith, Chuck Berry, and many more.  His latest album is Give ‘Em What They Want.  He will be playing live at the Acoustic Den Café in Roseville that same evening.

The Mechula is a jazz trio out of Sacramento, California. They are always searching and experimenting as a post-bop jazz quartet for new ways to interpret the genre, and aim to create music that is interesting and meaningful.

Marian McPartland, Buddy De Franco Quintet, Horace Parlan, Sam Lazar, Ella Fitzgerald, Coleman Hawkins, Earl "Fatha" Hines. We'll hear Marian McPartland with Tommy Flanagan, and with Renee Rosnes, and then wrap it up with Ed Bickert & Don Thompson.
