Davis Music Connections - October 12, 2021Tue, 10/12/2021 - 3:00pm | NedPat Fish, the driving force behind the Jazz Butcher Conspiracy, shuffled off his mortal coil last Tuesday. He died in his sleep... 64 years old. It's a death I can't stop thinking about. I'm not particularly sad, just impacted. The Jazz Butcher is one of the bands that was most influential and inspirational to me when I was learning how to write songs. Their unpredictable style and ability to create complicatingly simple music with interesting lyrics often motivated me to keep trying. I am so grateful to have been alive while Pat Fish was alive. Thank you for sharing your talents, sir. Rest in peace. -Ned
