Composting involves recycling organic matter, such as leaves and food scraps, into fertilizer that can enrich soil and plants. Find out about the journey that your apple peels and eggshells take once you put your food waste into your city's organics waste removal cart and set the cart out on your curb. Jennifer Gilbert gives us the dirt on composting and tells us about her job as the Conservation Coordinator for the City of Davis.
