Gospel music with Preacher on Listening Lyrics Mar 3rd, 2017

Gospel music is very powerful whether a Christan or not. It is safe to say that most people, if not all love, this type of music because it is uplifting and inspiring to the listener. The purpose of “gospel” music is in the word itself; Gospel derives from the old Anglo-Saxon word meaning “good message” or “good news”. A song is sung with passion and belief from the singer that those that hear will be touched in a good and heartfelt way. Even the musicians have a part in the beat they play, it causes the listener to be impacted.

Rocket Radio for 5:30pm on Feb 28th, 2017

Happy Mardi Gras! In this show Rocket reads from a packet on the hollow Earth theory that's been laying around the studio for the past few weeks. It's really weird and details different species of aliens, some of which are humanoid and others of which look more like reptiles. It's a wild experience. Rocket reads about the development of radio in the 1930's and 40's from his history textbook (it's actually interesting, though). There are also some hilarious jokes featured on the show. Music includes "Nantes" by Beirut because of France and Mardi Gras, "Starlight" by Muse because of Moonlight winning picture of the year at the Oscars, and "How Would You Feel (Paean)" by Ed Sheeran from his next album that drops this week.
