Theatre and ClassesTue, 03/07/2017 - 6:05pm | Rocket DrewAll the world's a stage but especially Davis right now. Davis High's production of Standing on Ceremony opens this weekend and Harper Junior High's Hairspray opens the next. Next week are also auditions for Acme Theatre's spring show The Jungle Book (a modern version) which are open to all 9th-12th graders. Rocket talks about meeting the Hairspray cast at Harper literally half an hour ago and talking to them about theatre opportunities at the high school. These opportunities include DHS Drama and Acme but also classes like stagecraft and drama that DJUSD students may want to consider enrolling in before they submit their course request applications. Rocket also talks about his experiences at the debate tournament he attended this past weekend. There are, of course, bad jokes too. |
