This week Listening Lyrics goes to Los Angeles to check out the LA Music scene. We have a remote interview with Will Carpenter and Dan Hange of SHIPS HAVE SAILED. That will set the tone for the show. The Golden Road Takes A Trip To A Day On The Green

Join us for a ride in the Wayback Machine as we go to June 8, 1974 and the 2nd Day On The Green ever promoted by Bill Graham in Oakland Stadium.  On the bill that day was Commander Cody & The Lost Planet Airmen, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, The Beach Boys and of course, the show was headlined by The Grateful Dead.  You'll hear them all on KDRT and The Golden Road, Friday May 23rd from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.

KDRT and the Davis Music Festival will copresent an all-ages preview party and fundraiser at the Sudwerk Brewing Dock Store on Thursday, May 22nd, from 4 to 9 p.m. Join us for fresh taps and live music from DMF artists The Bottom Dwellers, Owl Paws, The Lurk, and Million Dollar Giveaway...

A suggested donation of $5 will include admission plus one raffle ticket for a single-day pass to the BottleRock Music Festival in Napa, May 30-June 1.
