Davis Media Access - Temporary Closure
Wed, 03/18/2020 - 6:47pm | Autumn Labbe-RenaultIn an effort to protect our community of volunteers, public visitors, and staff, and consistent with current public health guidelines, we have made the decision to close the Davis Media Access and KDRT facility to the general public through the end of March. This decision is implemented with our closure at 6 pm this evening, Friday, March 13, 2020. As a community facility with heavy use and much shared equipment, we feel this is the most responsible way we can help #flattenthecurve, support social distancing, and help keep the COVID-19 virus from spreading.
Behind the scenes, here is what will be happening:
For the next two weeks, I’ll be offering a live show on KDRT on Tuesdays & Fridays from 12-12:30, repeating at 5 pm both days. The COVID-19 Community Report will focus on information and calls to action at the local level, and feature a resource roundup and calls with local elected officials and other community leaders. Breaking news will be shared on our social media platforms.
