Legendary Davis radio host Bill Wagman passed away earlier this year. If you knew Bill well – or simply knew him through his house concerts and radio shows on KDRT and KDVS – please join us for a very special Celebration of Life at Davis Odd Fellows Hall, 415 Second St., at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 28. There will be a finger-food potluck, and so please bring some appetizers or desserts to share. RIP, Bill.
Davis Music Festival is here! KDRT broadcasts live from Sudwerk's Hopyard stage on Friday, June 19 – starting at 4 p.m. Pacific, featuring performances by Wet Wreckless, Megan Slankard, and Marty O'Reilly. We're also live from Armadillo Music on Saturday at 3 p.m. with music by Anna May, Beti Masenqo, Maita, and Mission Delirium. There's no broadcast on Sunday, but you'll be sure to see some KDRT friends at Delta of Venus. Dirk Brazil, host of Twang Thang, has announced he's taking a long hiatus from radio, citing other time obligations.
