Davisville, Sept. 25, 2017: Trying to steer away from the ditchMon, 09/25/2017 - 9:05pm | Bill BuchananDavis is headed for a ditch, financially, but doesn’t have to land there. Dan Carson, chair of the city’s Finance and Budget Commission, is one of several people in town who are trying to engage the rest of us in helping Davis make a few course corrections now, before we start going over the edge. Today on Davisville we talk about the problem, what caused it, what we can do about it, the forecast that describes what’s coming, and why most people in Davis aren’t paying attention. At least, not yet. |

The Golden Road for 7:00pm on Sep 22nd, 2017Fri, 09/22/2017 - 9:05pm | Lee MaddexTonight, on the Golden Road, we set the way back machine for October 12th, 1984 and the Augusta Civic Center for the second set of this epic Grateful Dead show. The Dead always played exceptionally well in Maine (eighteen shows in all), and this Augusta Civic show may just be their best Maine show ever! Jerry was in the house on this Friday evening and every song had that extra little something special, particularly the monstrous Morning Dew that closed the second set! This show is worthy of its legendary status!
