If you enjoy indie rock (off-kilter melodies with experimental instrumentation) and Christmas (that thing that occurs every December 25th), then you owe it to yourself to listen to this show. For five years I've been tracking down songs that sound like something I would play on a regular Constant Grin episode, yet are thematically based around jolly fat men and decorated pine trees. This year's edition is mostly comprised of original holiday tunes, but also features a few cover versions of yuletide classics. So raise up that glass of nog and join the avant-garde merriment!
Does today's program collect all of your favorite Halloween standbys in one convenient show? No! Okay, is it Halloween music reinterpreted by indie rock musicians? Wrong again! Well, does it have anything to do with Halloween whatsoever? Not strictly speaking, no.
