Live Tracks

Live Tracks features a wide range of music, from early '60s rock and rockabilly, to folk, blues, bluegrass, jazz and beyond. The program frequently airs songs from local performances recorded here in Davis. Live Tracks began broadcasting on KDRT on Sept. 30, 2004, and has produced 636 unique programs as of November 2021.  [To be honest, Live Tracks is rather odd.  Just sayin'...]

Live Tracks features Misner & Smith's May 2012 Odd Fellows Hall concert

Misner & Smith were featured at the May 3rd "Thursday Live!" monthly free community concert. KDRT's Jim Buchanan recorded the performance and features it during the first half-hour of this archived Live Tracks show. Misner & Smith are trying to raise $24,000 to complete their fourth album, "Seven Hour Storm." (As of Labor Day, they've climbed past $16,100.) KDRT supports local musicians and hopes they succeed.

Hi Jim,
Your show makes for great bike commute music...regarding Daltry & Townsend "cultural" award...it was the Kennedy Center awards...presented by, you guessed it...dubya! Oh, and the Sac. Blues Review number is reminiscent of the Cealis commercial on TeeVee...any connection?? Just wondering, Drt-clod Craig
