This week's High Country Music features a few tunes from John Hartford's Gum Tree Canoe album, an album that included Sam Bush and Jerry Douglas. Also featured are The Crooked Jades, Laura Premo, Ola Belle Reed, Late for the Train, Doc Watson and Clarence Ashley, Gillian Welch, The Slocan Ramblers, Bill Monroe & His Bluegrass Boys and Greensky Bluegrass.

Hey Rusty.....have just listened to tonights show...some great stuff much of which i had not heard! Of course Matty Groves is a great Fairport tune and i was lucky enough to catch them a few years ago at their annual Cropredy Festival...still going strong! Thanks for playing Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings last time out and if this slots into your general remit I think your listeners would love it! Maybe preface it with " DO NOT poke with a stick and play LOUD!" Ray Willie Hubbard...Snake Farm! A great music station and thanks for the heads up !
