I am the one who attended the concert and wrote a blog about it. Unfortunately, no, I do not know the name nor the origin of his encore piece. I wish I did. With the way it ended (on a harmonic), it was short, sweet, and felt to me like a good-bye kiss from Yo-Yo Ma.
