UCD professor to speak about conspiracy theories this week on Davisville

UC Davis history Professor Kathryn Olmsted will talk about conspiracy theories and U.S. democracy on the next edition of "Davisville", a new public affairs program produced at KDRT. The show airs at 5:30 p.m. on Mondays & 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays.

Olmsted's new book "Real Enemies: Conspiracy Theories & American Democracy, World War I to 9/11" has just been published by Oxford Press.

In the interview, she discusses her book, the fact that some conspiracy theories prove to be true, and why strange conspiracy theories have become central to U.S. politics with the growth of the federal government.

The program is hosted by Bill Buchanan, and was recorded & engineered at the Davis Media Access studios.
