The Legendary Doug James and the sounds of The Hucklebucks on The Grapevine August 12th

It is my pleasure to host a visit to the KDRT studio by the legendary Doug James of The Hucklebucks, one of Sacramento's very best blues bands from a LONG time back. The Hucklebucks have played all over the greater Tri-County region and to points beyond. Winners of the Sacramento News & Review SAMMIES award for Best Blues Band, these guys have a new record out called "Juke Box Blues". They will be playing a record release party at Sacramento's infamous Torch Club on Friday, September 24th, but listeners of KDRT and The Grapevine can hear a special preview of "Juke Box Blues" on August 12th....LIVE from 7 to 8 p.m. Doug will not only hand pick some tunes from "Juke Box Blues", but will also spin some tunes from some of his favorite blues musicians that absolutely "stop time".
