Hey there K-Dirt listeners...wanted to let you all know the latest on keeping you tuned in the sounds of REAL country music on the station. From what we hear, Mae and Tyler have hit the trail and might be headed straight to Nashville...hard to say, but we are gonna miss them creating their great show every Wednesday in the K-D-R-T studio. But don't fret, country music fans...our crack team of DJ's here at The Dirt have banded together once again to keep
a good thing going. The Dinner Bell Roundup will continue on and will keep spinning the classic country hits, great "B" sides, trucker favorites and some other sounds that we are sure will keep your radio dial nailed down to 95.7 LP FM or for our listeners around the world, www.kdrt.org. We love hearing from you all, so don't hesitate to send us a line and let us know what's on your mind. And we are also putting out the call for a new DJ that has the passion for REAL country, an epic country record collection and an interest in getting involved in one of the best things going on these days....COMMUNITY RADIO!

Thank you for playing real country. The Hacienda Brothers were great, However the next band of Dave Gonzales " the Stoneriver Boys" put on a great show at the Palms. You might also play something from the Paladins, Daves first band.
Thanks for the note Anon! Nice to hear some views from a KDRT listener.
Believe me, after seeing what Dave Gonzalez can do with an electric guitar, he is by far the most unsung player out there. His work with the Hacienda Brothers was burnin' a hole through the Sun hot. I've been around the block a few times and in my humble opinion, the Hacienda Brothers were as great of a true band as I have ever seen.
Next time the SRB's come through Winters, I will be sure to check them out. As for the Paladins, there are still quite a few folks that hope they make some music together again someday. Me included!
