The Golden Road Lays Low

Hello out there in Radio Land!

Wanted to pass along that The Golden Road show will be holed up in the barn until January 11th.  Need to give the our ol' plow mule, Jed, a rest and tune up the spaceship before the next trip to the outer reaches of the galaxy.  In the meantime, you can check out any of the past shows on the KDRT site by either downloadin' or just listenin'.  Don't miss the "Great Keyboardist Gig In The Sky" that was originally aired on December 14th when the illustrious Dr. Strangely Strange (host of the Magical Music Box) and I conjured up a joint show that was particularly fun from our end...hope from yours as well.

On January 11th, The Golden Road will return and we will ring in 2009 with a rocking hand-crafted selection of Grateful Dead sounds recorded on New Years Eve over the course of the history of the band.  Though there is lots to choose from, you are welcome to send in your requests and we'll see if we can get to 'em!

2008 has been a great year for KDRT and The Golden Road show - thanks so much for tuning in.  See you on the flip side!

How about some pfish licks? They rock

Hey Rod,
Just want to shout out to you from Sacramento, where we listen live and podcasting via the internet. We love the show and all the great tunes you play. As well as the Grapevine show. Even though your signal is not strong enough to reach us, we've found a way to listen. And, it sometimes seems that 2hours is not enough time for all the sweet licks. The time flies when we're having fun rocking out to the Dead. It is a great way to end the weekend and start off the week on a good note. Keep up the good vibes, How Sweet It Is ! Thank you, Steven in Sacramento Cyberspace :)
