This week's Album of The Week is P E G A S U S T H O T Z by Field Medic, side project of Kevin Patrick Sullivan (Rin Tin Tiger) is always incredible and this brand new release doesn't fall short of AwEsOmE at all! Although sweet, short and to the point, the songs are raw, clever and sweetly sad. Also, of note, all jams are single takes captured by the genius fellas at Sunroom Recordz and Salon, a new up and coming record label out of San Francisco.
I also need to note that I bent the rules a little this week, since technically
P E G A S U S T H O T Z is an EP, not a full length album, I asked Kevin to call into KDRT to fill the hour. I had phone issues, headset cords were missingso we chatted via iPhone speaker to the mic so please forgive the levels, I tried like heck to make it work!! After our breh-down, I ended the hour with another Field Medic EP, a book worth reading and a few songs from his first release, Crushed Pennies.
