In June 2009, as they graduated from Davis High School, Lauren De Terra (left) and Megan Buchanan discussed growing up in Davis on Davisville. Four years later, after living in Sacramento and San Francisco respectively, and with college done or nearly done, the longtime friends discuss how they view Davis now.

Lively Up Yourself is a show dedicated to exposing listeners to the history, culture, and varieties of reggae music. There will periodically be guest djs and musicians on the show sharing their enthusiasm and knowledge of reggae. Tune in to learn about upcoming events in the area, information about local artists, and how reggae music has influenced other musical genres. One good thing about music, when it hits, you feel no pain.

20th Century Jazz: each show features instrumental and vocal jazz, usually presented in historical sequence. Occasionally contemporary, sometimes much older selections, lots from the 1940's to the 1980's. Some big band and swing; lots of cool jazz and West Coast; some fusion, a little bebop. Usually some boogie woogie, blues, bossa nova; always something by Ella.

World Reggae

Live Thursday 2-3pm
