Bio: Dr. Ulfat Shaikh is a pediatrician and professor at the University of California Davis and leads healthcare improvement programs to help people access high quality healthcare and stay healthy. She is the Chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics' Council on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, and is on the board of directors of the International Society for Quality in Healthcare. Dr. Shaikh was honored by the American Board of Pediatrics in recognition of her longstanding contributions to improving the quality of healthcare for children. She has been a practicing pediatrician for over 25 years and holds a Doctor of Medicine, master’s in public health, master’s in clinical research, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
