Eventually taking a wheel-throwing class at the UC Davis Craft Center in 1995 and covered in clay ever since. She was further inspired to create and explore different ways of using and decorating clay during several wonderful return visits to Spain. Michael Ellis was first acknowledged as a poet when he was 17.He was published twice before he reached 19. He was immediately compared to Harlem Renaissance poet, Langston Hughes, a measure he neither embraced or denied.
