Live Tracks features Bill Scholer and Waiting for Bruce in honor of CD release concert July 5

Get ready for another memorable night of LIVE local music at the Davis Odd Fellows Hall on July 5 as Thursday Live! hosts special guest Bill Scholer and Waiting for Bruce in a spirited celebration of Bill's long-awaited CD, Haunted Highway. Bill always brings lots of musician friends and surprise guests, so don't miss the show! To gear up, listen to this September 2011 edition of Live Tracks, which features a live recording of the 2009 Waiting for Bruce concert, including full band versions of Road 99, Retrograde, and Funky Monkey. The second hour highlights a few great tunes from other Davis favorites, including The West Nile Ramblers, Hardwater, and David Campos with Zapato Viejo. The free, monthly Thursday Live! concert series is sponsored by the Odd Fellows Music Committee in partnership with KDRT.

Hi Jim,
Your show makes for great bike commute music...regarding Daltry & Townsend "cultural" award...it was the Kennedy Center awards...presented by, you guessed it...dubya! Oh, and the Sac. Blues Review number is reminiscent of the Cealis commercial on TeeVee...any connection?? Just wondering, Drt-clod Craig
