Fantastic post. Bookmarked this site and emailed it to a few friends, your post was that great, keep it up.

When it comes to the blues, you have the era of acoustic tone + inspired "field" or "life experience" voice stuff like Robert Johnson on one end, and then contemporary style like...say, Robert Cray or Tommy Castro on the other end.

But when you crank up those master sounds like Muddy & Howlin Wolf from the era when they recorded on the Chess label, it is pretty tough to beat. It is the simply the equivalent to Miles Davis, The Beatles, Sinatra, Johnny Cash, etc.

Appreciate you tuning in to The Dirt & The Grapevine!
