Hi Don & Lois - You asked for questions - here's a topic I'd loved to hear about: growing various blackberries & rasberries. I live in the low desert of S. Calif with alkaline soil. I just bought some yellow raspberry plugs at a local fertilizer shop. I planted them at the edge of the Mulberry canopy, first working in a bit of acidic organic fertilizer into the planting area, and lastly putting a layer of shredded wood and some organic fertilizer w/ micorrhial stuff in it over the new bed. I'm really hoping it's what they like. The thought of yummy berries in the Summer is soooo enticing. It'll be a few years... but worth the wait!?! I want to put in more berries and would love to hear a good discussion from you both about what you know.

I only listen to the Davis Garden show on podcast because I primarily use it to study in lieu of attending school. Besides, I think that if I went to school, I would argue the teacher doesnt know what they are talking about because Don and Lois dont do it that way!!!!!
I suggest you take the Davis Garden Show national and make millions :)
