Hey There Heapsters-
This week's Compost Heap included a couple of T-Bones (Burnett and Walker); two very different artists from the same town (Lubbock, TX): Butch Hancock and The Legendary Stardust Cowboy (covering Bowie's "Space Oddity", no less); and two artists with interesting variations on the bass: Split Lip Rayfield's bass player, Jeff Eaton, uses an incredible sounding bass carved from an old Ford pick-up's gas tank - http://www.splitliprayfield.com/band - and That 1 Guy uses an amazing contraption he calls the "magic pipe". Here he is doing "The Moon Is Disgusting"- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wGMsOhaPJs - He's also a great lyricist. Enjoy!
