Album of the Week (4/9) @5pm Sufjan Stevens' "Carrie & Lowell"

I have not yet listened to this album, so come with me on the journey! According to Wikipedia (today at least) "Carrie & Lowell is the seventh studio album album by American musician Sufjan Stevens, released through Asthmatic Kittyon March 31, 2015.[2] Unlike Stevens' last studio album, the electronic The Age of Adz, Carrie & Lowell is sparsely instrumental and marks a return to the performer's indie folk roots.[1] The album was given a one week preview on NPR.[3] The album was released to high critical acclaim, with many critics calling it one of Stevens' best.[4]"

From what I can tell, Carrie was Sufjan's mother, who died in 2012 and Lowell is or was his stepfather. I'll know more by Thursday at 5!
