Grateful Dead member, Bob Bralove Interview on The Golden Road, October 5th 2:00 pm

Hey K-Dirt listeners! Please join us for a plush side trip down the Golden Road when Bob Bralove, former member of The Grateful Dead, and sound sculpter extraordinare will be on the air for an interview all about his upcoming live exploratory experience at the Davis Cemetery Gallery on October 13th. For the performance, Bob will be joined by Robin Sylvester and Dave Amato to round out the Bob Bralove Psychedelic Cabaret.

This will be Bob Bralove's second live interview on KDRT and he is an excellent touchstone for any Dead Head and the wonderful sounds from his direct contributions to The Grateful Dead that they captured both in the recording studio and live on stage...and of course, Bob's own excellent improvisational sounds.

About Wayne Hagen

Wayne is a founding member of the California Jug Band Association (CJBA) and a member of its Board of Directors. In 2002 Wayne and his banjo-playing buddy Andy began the International Jug Band Festival in Sutter Creek, California. The festival has given birth to new jug band festivals as far away as Louisville, Kentucky, as well as the CJBA.

Wayne has been playing jug since 1979 and he'll pull out his jug and play with anyone. He also tries to play the mandolin and is a big fan of Vol Stevens and Yank Rachell. His passion for jug band music has turned him into a walking encyclopedia of the genre. Go ahead, ask him a question -- we dare ya. He says that getting a chance to share his love for jug band music on KDRT is a great joy.
