Driving through Davis on 1/25/17. Radio dial set at 95.7 (sports talk in SF), but instead heard the beautiful sounds of the islands! So glad I stumbled upon your broadcast. Filled my drive with aloha! Mahalo nui loa!
Hi Beth,
Thanks for lovey shows - they bring wonderful sunshine to the every part of world.
Am unable to retrieve past shows prior to Dec 7 2016 - please please help.
Thanks very much and wish you great Joy & Peace !
Beth - Thanks for giving me your business card for Na Mele O Hawai'i a couple of weeks ago while we were watching and listening to performers like Kumu Blaine Kamalani Kia. I've started downloading and listening to your podcasts. Very nice, especially where you add some musicology commentary. I'd love it even more if I could download your program to my Stitcher app. Mahalo
Hi Beth,
I have recently returned home (to Sydney, Australia) from a week's holiday in Hawaii, during which I was very fortunate to see Maunalua perform at the Moana Surfrider. I love listening to your archived shows through the TuneIn app on my iPhone while at work as a way to reminisce, if only for brief periods :).
Kind regards,
Brett.
Thank you, Brett. I'm so glad you enjoy the show and hope you keep on enjoying. I'll try to play Maunalua for you ASAP!
When I first moved out here for school, I was feeling very homesick. After I heard your show on the radio, I sat in my car in the middle of a parking lot and embraced every moment of it. Makes me feel like da ‘aina is not so far away. Now I listen every Sunday I can. :) Mahalo!
Dan
So glad you found a bit of home in the program, Dan. Mahalo for your kind words.
Just a note to say how very much I enjoy your programs.
Mahalo, Lois!
