Medicare Open Enrollment: Get Free, Unbiased Help

Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15 through December 7, giving beneficiaries an opportunity to review and change their coverage for 2027. With rising costs and changes to Medicare plans in Yolo County, reviewing your options is especially important.

A free Medicare workshop will be held at the Davis Senior Center on Wednesday, October 28, at 1 p.m. HICAP counselors will explain Medicare Advantage, prescription drug plans, Medigap coverage, and ways to save money. No registration is required.

Free, unbiased individual counseling is also available in person or by phone. HICAP offers worksheets to help counselors evaluate your prescriptions and coverage options.
