Clay is a Sacramento hospitality entrepreneur and community leader. He owns the Michelin Guide-recognized restaurant Canon, founded Franquette and Cantina Pedregal, and co-founded Family Meal, a pandemic-era initiative that has provided more than 750,000 meals while supporting local restaurants and workers.
With a background in nonprofit and arts leadership, he helped launch DBA Arts, Sacramento Electronic Music Festival, TBD Fest, and M5 Arts. He also co-founded Restron, an online restaurant ordering platform; is board chair of Valley Vision; and is an executive committee and board member of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce.
