Despite wind and rain and thunder and lightning and viruses, Santa still delivered his best gift for Boxing Day -- a live (via Zoom) interview with Nicole Laurenne, the dynamic leader of The Darts (U.S.) and femme fatale in her Black Viiolet alter ego. Nicole joined us for a lively discussion of her holiday visit, recent tour high- and lowlights, plans for 2026 and a badass selection of tunes that have influenced and inspired her over the years. And as a bonus gift, we had the World Broadcast Debut of Black Viiolet's cover of the holiday classic You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch! All of this while battling an unfortunate holiday virus.
