This week on the Golden Road, we are going to try something a little bit different. We are going to play tracks from the new Jerry Garcia: Before the Dead release and then play later versions of the same songs as performed by the Grateful Dead or Jerry Garcia. But starting us off this week we are going “out with the truckers and the kickers and the cowboy angels” with the incomparable Emmylou Harris and the Hot Band recorded live at the Beacon Theater, NYC on March 27th, 1976.
