celtic, celtic music, Irish music, Scottish music, England

As we enter into a time of gathering with friends and family, we are also likely to feel a growing sense of closeness to nature and an appreciation for the seasons.  This week on Celtic Songlines, I hope you feel a bit of enchantment as we listen to songs and tunes from Northern Ireland's Deantà,  The Gloaming, Northern California favorites Golden Bough, Lúnasa alumnus pipers Michael McGoldrick & John Sherry, Clannad and we finish with Sue Richards on harp.

Tune in live on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon at KDRT 95.7FM, stream at kdrt.org, or subscribe to the Celtic Songlines podcast on Apple podcasts. The program replays on KDRT each Wednesday 1-2 p.m., Thursday 6-7 p.m., Sunday 4-5 p.m.

Thank you for playing my CD! What a nice surprise! I'll definitely have a listen, and thanks for loving and promoting Celtic music!!

Some lovely tunes on this program Dave! I am a BIG fan of Clannad so it was nice to revisit them....the show gets better and better and you are researching some great material and bringing bands possibly not known away from their home 'turf' to a wider audience...at the end of the day that's what sharing of music should be all about! Might not be in touch this side of Christmas but here's wishing you and your family and all at KDRT Davis well
