This week on Celtic Songlines we re-explore more fantastic musicians playing music from the Celtic lands. Come along lads and lassies for Planxty,  from my home state of Ohio The Drowsy Lads,  Patrick Street, a retelling of Celtic lore from the duo of Anna & Elizabeth, House Devils, Emily Smith with Jamie McClennan, Altan, pagan folk band Daridel, Brigid Mae Power and Shane Cook with Jake Charron.

Tune in live on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon at KDRT 95.7FM with replays Monday 8-9pm, Saturday 6-7pm. Outside the broadcast area you can stream at kdrt.org, or subscribe to the Celtic Songlines podcast on Apple podcasts.

Hi David, Nice meeting you here and I hope we can meet in person on day as well. I'm new voice on KDRT but I have many years of relations with record labels (mostly CDs) and musicians who work on their own. I don't cover Celtic music on my shows, Not in the past at KDVS and will not at KDRT. The main reason is that the folk music DJs tend to cover it very well, that includes you as well!

I often get announcements about new releases or bands touring schedule, The one that came today is a group from Spain that apparently has been around since the late '90 but I never heard of them. The email was promoting their upcoming tour schedule  but I thought  you may like teir music if you're not familliar with them. Their website is; https://www.lumedebiqueira.es/
