Tree has a theory about music and songwriters. Eventually he will flesh out this theory- suffice to say it involves a trinity of sorts, exploration of themes amongst recording artists, and otherwise very few self imposed boundaries. Listen in as Tree brings music old and new, known and unknown. Eventually he'll get around to explaining it himself. In the meantime, let him show you the way.

Friday join Emmet at 12:00PM. THE BUG OF THE YEAR VOTES KEEP ROLLING IN . . . so we've changed the last day of voting. Hundreds of people from around the world have visited http://www.insectnewsnetwork.com/bug-of-the-year/ to cast their vote. The voting closes on Thursday, Jan. 16th. The live BOTY broadcast is now Friday, Jan. 17th at 12 pm PST on KDRT 95.7 FM and the INN website. The great news: every one of the Top 25 arthropod nominees has received at least one vote. You won't believe which critter has the most votes so far. Any guesses?

Wayne has been playing jug since 1979 and currently is active in two bands - the legendary Babar Jug Band from San Francisco and the upstart Aesthetic Cling. But he'll pull out his jug and play with anyone. He also tries to play the mandolin and is a big fan of Vol Stevens and Yank Rachell. His passion for jug band music has turned him into a walking encyclopedia of the genre. Go ahead ask him a question, dare ya. Getting a chance to share his love for jug band music on KDRT is a great joy.
