"FREE-RANGE RADICALS" is here to uplift listeners with a weekly auditory dose of community joy and pro-activist optimism. We want to rock out, normalize action, and rebuke senses of “there’s nothing to be done” despair by celebrating the People Power inside every listener.



To get a little more specific…

Rather than cater to any single label, party, or platform, Free-Range Radicals seeks to celebrate the history and evolution of working-class action to dispel despair and punctuate the power of day-to-day activism.

We aim to cultivate this theme through a regular program of curated music, interwoven charismatic commentary, and even the odd interview with local aid organizers and community activists who can share first-hand experiences in how any of us can get organized to make a real difference (while also sharing their top 5 music playlist!).

Not every song needs to be an upbeat jamboree, but all broadcasting – glad and sad – will culminate into an ongoing rally against the malaise of defeat and isolation. An optimistic anthem that proudly declares radical growth is indeed inevitable when The People unite to forge a future together.

“FREE RANGE RADICALS” operates on a foundation of revolutionary optimism, not as a naive hope, but as a practiced discipline—using music to remind listeners that a better world is not only possible, but to invite them to strive and sing for its fruition.
