I am an old timer who lives in Knoxville, Tn. but have my roots in Brooklyn, N.Y. Yes, I still have an accent and alot of memories of summer vacations spent around the jukebox in a wooden soda shack, by the beach, where us kids would dance to the latest tunes of the day. The "eclectic dinosaur" has brought back those memories for me with his fine assortment of oldies and goodies. I haven't heard many of them for years- too many to count. I can enjoy them again- so thanks.

P.S.
I get the extra bonus of knowing the D.J. as he is my cousin Lee. Keep it up. - Jackie

I'm coming at you from San Jose...made famous by Burt Bacharach and Hal David. I had the pleasure of meeting Lee while I was waiting with my brother for his kids outside their school a few months back. Lee was there on the park bench, and we began talking about his radio show. He began talking about the various programs he had done in the past, as well as some upcoming ones that perked my interest. Now I'm 32 years old and was familiar with some of the artists he was showcasing on KDRT but couldn't wait to get home and listen to the new/past ones after he gave me his business card.

I haven't missed one episode since then, and he has introduced me to several new artists that I listen to on a regular basis now and also have purchased their albums (Sam Cooke and Lefty Frizzell among others). I can honestly say that I get excited for Tuesday's show when Lee treats us to some of his timeless favorites and simply to hear his calm, relaxed voice. Having worked at a major San Francisco radio station in productions/programming, you definitely bring a great mix of personality and programming to KDRT. Thanks and God Bless, Lee!

P.S. What happened to this past Tuesday's show? I was busy at work but was hoping to replay through the Archives.
