In this edition of the Golden Road, finish up the last in a 3-part broadcast that gives the good K-Dirt listeners an idea of what Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead were up to in 1970 & 71. This show features the excellent sounds created at Bill Graham's fabled Fillmore East in last week of April 1971 when he decided to shut down the hall to much chagrin of the loyal patrons there. There are also a couple of tunes in the mix from the Manhattan Center where the band played earlier in the month. Great sounds...great times (as evidenced by the audience!) and plenty of the good ol' Grateful Dead. Enjoy!
