Magical Music Box - Best of the Best of 2009: This has been a great year for psychedelic and progressive music releases and re-releases. This show is the tip of the iceberg as seen through the Doc's crystal spectacles. Exciting new California bands include The Assemble Head in Sunburst Sound, Ganglians (from Sacramento), Isis, and Sunn O))). From across the rest of the US and Europe are featured Florence and the Machine, Animal Collective, The Flaming Lips, Fuck Buttons, and Wilco. 2009 also saw remasters and re-releases from Genesis and Procol Harum, which are sampled here.
