The Golden Road leads to the Land of the Sun (where the one-armed drummer is King!) straight up the Nile River...that's right, The Grateful Dead in Egypt. Recorded live in September of 1978 at the Sound & Light Theatre right next to the Sphinx and at the base of the Great Pyramid, without a doubt is was the band's most exotic field trip.
