Long live record shops! Some of you may enjoy a jaunty trip through a computer to obtain music, but for me, just walking into a record shop with a few greenbacks (or, what the hell...gift cards!) in my pocket and combing through the bins and finding some choice sounds is the making of a great day for me. But enough about me - this edition of The Grapevine focused on Ray Charles & Jackie Wilson with a little Aretha sprinkled in. The sounds were picked up recently at Russ Solomon's new scene on the corner of Land Park & Broadway across the Great Divide.
