The Golden Road finally works in one of the most creative, and weird, musicians of the 20th century...Frank Zappa. Though his body of work is gargantuan, it's most likely for the best that we roll out some cool tunes from "Overnite Sensation" to not scare the children anymore than necessary at this point in time! Not too many folks "got" Frank, but Deadheads all around enjoyed his adventuresome approach to recorded sound. The songs here mainly focus on sex and great guitar playing...a combo that will live forever!
And, of course, there is some excellent material from the Grateful Dead...smokin' hot live stuff from the year of 1980.
